Back in Mount Shasta

Yesterday, Cephas and I arrived joyously back in the town of Mount Shasta, California. It felt like coming home.

Most of the snow has melted on Black Butte. The green trees are showing in their majestic heights as well as the green grass and foliage on the ground below. After reports from friends about the intense snow in this region this winter, it was surprising to see most of it melted in the month of March.

Mount Shasta looked as majestic as ever, her peaks covered in white, while the lower part of the mountain emerging in all its green spring splendor. The mountain looked so inviting with the sun shining its warmth at a balmy 55 degrees, I felt a desire to walk upon the mountain. Hiking was not in the plans today, however, as it was Cephas' birthday. Dinner and good cup of coffee loomed strongly in our desires after such a long drive that morning.

The day would unfold in such a way that we ended it with meeting our old friends Fred and Mary. We spent the night at their home and it looks like we'll be spending time together for a few days. I'll write more about that later.

Over the past ten years, we have been drawn to visit this beautiful place, not only the mountain or the town of Mount Shasta, but the entire area from Mount Shasta northward to the surrounding towns and forests. Our first visit to this area happened in 1997. That is when I had my first experience receiving esoteric information from an intangible physical presence. My reference to this experience is to call it "spiritual inspiration".

The first spiritual inspirations are recorded on the internet at a free website, that I have maintained since about the year 2000, when the spirit instructed me by a strong inclination in my heart, to make the information available to the public. I developed the website on angelfire because it offered a good amount of space for free. Angelfire has been a congenial host for these inspired writings ever since that year. Visit The Mysteries of Ancient Wisdom: The Living Scroll of Timeless Earth to read the inspirations.

The specific information that was given to me is titled "The Tree of Life". The text that is copied below is also available on the website under Prophecies by Naomi.

THE TREE OF LIFE

Flaming Sword and Seraphim guard the Tree of Life.
The Tree is Ancient Wisdom
That teaches about the True Existence ~
About Light....about Life.
You have witnessed the Seraphim being placed
You watched as Elijah took you there
When he went up on the Spirit Mountain to cleanse the Cache ~
{The Place of Knowing}
He spoke with the Seraphim who hold in their Hands
Each a Flaming Sword.
The Flaming Swords are the Words of Life....
The Hidden Scrolls of Ancient Wisdom.
The Word was Written and Preserved
For the End Times
When it was promised the Workers of Light
Who protect the Tree of Life
And Words of Eternal Knowledge
Would Reveal them in the End Days of Darkness
To All who were preserved as Workers of Truth and Light,
To those who were sent to the Earth to teach all on Earth
How to Transcend from this Earth Plane
To the Annals of Eternal Oneness ~~~~~~
Past the Gate of the Flaming Sword and Seraphim.
Listen to the Voice of One Crying in the Wilderness.
He is a Witness of Life.
He Knows the Way to the Words of Ancient Wisdom.
Come to the Mountain of Eternal Waters.
Elijah will meet you there
To give you Keys to the Cache {the place of Knowing}.

Storms and Extreme Weather Conditions

Online I found this "Extreme Weather Gallery" and thought it would greatly enhance any articles that I write on this subject. This is not my website, but please visit it.

A clip from this website:

"Flash Floods demonstrate the sheer hidden power of ordinary water, every bit as dangerous as violent tornadoes and just as capable of inflicting destruction. Slow-moving thunderstorms in mountainous terrain are their main trigger, when rainfall rates exceed the runoff capacities of streams and creeks. Most flash flood deaths occur when motorists attempt to cross water-covered roads - unfortunately still a common practice as the photos below will attest. The following collection of photos and video were taken during Storm Highway coverage of flooding in West Virginia during the past several years."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today, I keep hearing news of storms where people are being injured or killed, property is being damaged, flood stages are rising and people are facing evacuation and the uncertainty if their homes will be safe. It really makes me think how blessed I am to be safe and well in Twin Falls, Idaho. The weather today is sunny and balmy in the mid fifties with no storms in sight.

I want to write a bit about weather disasters and the effect it has on people and their lives. This could develop into a regular theme on this blog, since extreme weather is so prevalent and increasingly so in the past five to ten years.

Todays Headlines remind me how much our nation and our world need prayer.

Changed my Template

After having this blog for a couple weeks, I realized that it really wasn't very visually appealing. Today I remedied that and chose a new template. It should be much more asthetic now! I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I guess I have just been too busy working on all my blogs. At last count, I have created 43 blogs. Watch for those links to be posted here.

Continued Search for Paying Freelance Jobs

Today, I continue on as any other day. My fingers spend about four hours a day typing away on a computer keyboard some where. Today, it just so happens to be at a college library with liberal internet access in Twin Falls, Idaho. I haven't earned enough money yet with my freelance writing career to buy a laptop, so public internet access is my only venue.

Recently, I lost my home, so I am a traveling free lance writer in search of that golden opportunity. I am enjoying the travel and all the new experiences this current state of my being offers.

With so much traveling, I'll be sure to find a lot of interesting topics, places, people and experiences to write about.

The one thing that would make me happy, however, would be to find an actual opportunity that pays real money right away. I am truly the epitome of the starving writer!

If you know of a real opportunity to write, for real money, please email me right away. Or call 240-863-6250.

If you are a publisher, I am waiting for your call.

Quick Tips for Inner Peace

Inner peace is the realization that a state of tranquility exists within. Finding the key to tranquility is the challenge. In my quest for inner peace, I first searched outside myself. First I sought out places in nature that seemed conducive to inner peace. I purposed to spend time in these places of tranquility as often and for as long as possible.

One of the first places in nature that I discovered possessed the air of tranquility was water. As a young woman I spent hours walking or sitting by the water, just taking in the sounds of it as water rushes over rocks, or as it babbles along in small streams. Then I discovered the power of rushing large rivers and the energy large bodies of water in movement makes. Now one might think that rushing water is a force that is anything but peaceful or tranquil. The truth is contrary to this belief. I have found some of my most profound moments of inner peace through self realization while sitting in the midst of the sounds of rushing waters.

Waterfalls are particularly powerful tools of meditation. Sit by the side of a stream close to a waterfall and let its energy carry your mind away into a place that reaches beyond this world and its noise. Here lies the key to unlocking your own place of inner peace. Here, all external thoughts coming from outside sources are discarded.

Once this inner mind is opened, the true self can be accessed and seen in a light to the rational mind as never before. It is here, that truths can be realized. It is here, that wisdom will speak to one's inner soul. Once freed from the chaos of external noise, the inner soul will grasp the understanding necessary to find inner peace. Then this state of being can be established and transform the entire being, from the inner soul to the mind and to the outer thinking body, that is the person who walks in this external physical world of mortality.

At this point of realization, the mortal mind can foster its inner strength. This is the vital force that enables one to deal with all things outside of the self. With that ability, one can maintain inner peace in the face of all external stimulus, regardless of the source. This state of being is the true state of realizing inner peace.

One man who lived in history was the perfect example of such a state of being. Some call this man a prophet, a seer, an extraordinary man. Some called this man the Son of Man and the Son of God. His name is Jesus Christ. Through Christ's life and teachings can be found the true way of attaining inner peace.

In the opening paragraphs, I started with examples in nature where one can first seek that place where peace can be found. In my experiences, the water provided a conduit for my journey. The practical teachings, however, existed inside my awareness,in the inner mind. This is a place created within each one of us. The life and teachings of Jesus Christ are the roadmap to unlocking that path way already engrained in our physical and spiritual being. I could not improve on the teachings of the master of peace. So I share my experience in finding tthe way to understanding that which was already created within each of us.
